The niche you're missing is probably a partnership you haven't made yet.
I help transform small businesses by uncovering and building strategic partnerships that can open a new channel, land a bigger client, or unlock a revenue stream that hadn't been considered. I save businesses time by discovering untapped connections, so the wheels can start turning in a whole new direction. That’s exactly the kind of thing I love finding.
THE PROCESS BEHIND THE PARTNERSHIP
How We Work Together
No two businesses are the same, so no two partnership strategies should be either.
Here’s what the process looks like.
1. Discovery and Strategy Session
We start with a real conversation. Where is your business right now, and where do you want it to go? Together we get clear on your goals, your ideal partners, and what a genuine win looks like for you. This is where the wheels start turning.
2. Done-For-You Partnership Outreach
Once we have a plan, I get to work identifying and vetting the right potential partners and reaching out on your behalf. You stay focused on running your business. I handle the relationship-building.
3. Ongoing Partnership Management
Good partnerships need tending. On a retainer basis, I help you nurture and grow the relationships we've built so they keep delivering long after the initial handshake.
WHAT BECOMES POSSIBLE
Building Partnerships
There's always an "aha moment" when we start talking. Maybe it's a revenue stream you hadn't thought to explore, a channel that's been sitting there waiting, or a partner type that suddenly makes total sense. The wheels start turning and we both get excited to dig in.
That moment is exactly what I work toward with every client. Here's what it can look like on the other side:
New revenue streams that didn't exist before
Access to larger clients through trusted introductions
Partnerships where both sides genuinely benefit, not just deals that look good on paper
Time back in your week because someone else is handling the outreach
Clarity on who your best partners actually are, and who isn't worth your energy
My rule has always been simple: if it doesn't benefit both sides, it's not a partnership worth building.
THE PERSON BEHIND THE CONNECTIONS
Why Work With Julie
Honestly? I became an accidental solopreneur.
When the company I was working for went under, a contact reached out and asked for my help launching their government channel. I said yes, and Green Growth Strategies was born.
But the truth is, I'd been doing this work my whole career. I just didn't have a name for it yet.
Over two decades I've built and managed partnerships across seriously competitive industries, from national nonprofit work to collaborating with brands like MGM Resorts, Adobe, and VIM & VIGR. I've sat across the table from big players and scrappy startups alike, and I know how to find the angle that works for everyone in the room.
I've always been a natural people connector. I lead with curiosity. I want to know about your business, your goals, the gap you're trying to close, before I ever start talking about solutions. Because the right partnership isn't about selling. It's about fit.
I understand what it's like to be building something from the ground up, figuring it out as you go, and realizing you can't do it all alone. That's exactly where I come in.
I'm based in Montana, and I run my business the same way a good Montana deal gets done: with honesty, follow-through, and a handshake you can trust.
THE PROOF IS IN THE PARTNERSHIP
What Clients and Colleagues Say
“Julie knows exactly what to prioritize to turn ideas into outcomes. Her strategic thinking paired with strong execution resulted in the largest order in our company’s history. She delivers results and elevates everyone around her in the process.”
— Elizabeth B. THIS IS WHERE I COME IN
Growth Starts Now
Partnership development isn't something that happens between meetings. It needs someone whose whole job is to find the niche, make the connection, and tend to the relationship. That's exactly what I do.
Every time I've stepped into a new role or a new territory, I've noticed the same thing. There are revenue opportunities sitting right there, just outside the line of sight. A channel nobody has thought to open. A partner type that would be a natural fit. A relationship that could change the trajectory of the business.
Small businesses run lean. Everyone on the team is already doing two jobs. And partnership development is the kind of work that requires dedicated time, relationship-building, and a specific kind of focus that's genuinely hard to prioritize when you're also trying to, you know, run a business.
It's not that the opportunity isn't there. It's that nobody has the bandwidth to go find it and nurture it properly. That's not a flaw in your team. That's just the reality of how small businesses operate.
So if you've ever thought "we should really be doing more with partnerships" and then watched that idea get buried under everything else on your plate, you're in the right place.
Because growth stops being the thing you'll get to eventually. It starts being the thing that's already happening.
